Atkisson farms sorghum, wheat, forages and manages a herd of both registered and commercial cattle in Stockton, Kansas. Atkisson is passionate about his new role within NSP and plans to use his past experiences to improve the agricultural industry and the sorghum industry. Atkisson is one of the youngest farmers to ever serve as chairman of a commodity board.
